  • How long will it take to sell my luxury property?

    A typical Interluxe marketing & auction campaign lasts approximately 6 weeks. The first 5 weeks consist of the promotional and exposure period. Bidding commences in the final week. After the close of the auction the buyer has 30 days to close on the property.

  • How can I be assured that my home will sell for an acceptable price?

    You can set a reserve or minimum bid price that ensures the property will not sell unless a predetermined amount has been achieved. However, auctions with lower reserve amounts in relation to the value of the property often result in greater participation and fiercer bidding that result in a higher price.

  • How is my luxury property marketed?

    Interluxe offers a variety of channels and processes to market and advertise your luxury property. No matter what your needs, our marketing service plans can offer you a solution that will create the urgency you need to the market you desire.   • Do I need a real estate agent?

    Yes. Interluxe's platform is designed to work in cooperation with your current listing agent’s ongoing efforts. However, if you don’t have an agent or would like a recommendation for one, we can put in touch with top agents and brokers throughout the country who are extensively trained and experienced with the Interluxe platform.

  • What if my property is listed with a real estate agent?

    No problem! Interluxe's program is an enhancement to your agent's ongoing efforts. Interluxe provides the additional resources of enhanced advertising and promotion that compliment the efforts of your agent to deliver a buyer for your property. Your agent still lists, markets, shows & promotes the property just as they normally would. You and your agent would simply execute an addendum to your listing agreement regarding Interluxe providing marketing and online auction services.

  • How long will my auction last?

    Auctions are scheduled to last 3 days. However, with our Final Call feature, auctions can be extended if bidding continues in the final hours of an auction. This is done to give buyers ample time to continue to place bids and also allow the seller to maximize the price they achieve for their property.

  • Can I set a minimum sale amount for my auction?

    Yes, you can set a reserve or a minimum price in the auction.

  • What are the terms of sale?

    The standard terms of the agreement are that the buyer is purchasing the property as-is, where is, with no contingencies. A 10% down payment will be collected after the end of the auction and held in a 3rd party escrow account until closing.

  • How long will it take for my property to close?

    Closings are scheduled to take place within 30 days unless the Seller wishes to specify alternate closing times in the Terms and Conditions for their auction.

  • What if I receive a contract on my home?

    Terrific! If you receive a contract on your property we recommend you still obtain a contingent free offer or use the pre-provided Interluxe Purchase & Sale Agreement.

  • Are all sales final?

    Yes, a buyer must put down 10% after the close of the auction and execute a non-contingent contract. Closing shall take place within 30 days.

  • Do I have to accept the highest bid on my property?

    No, you don't have to accept the highest bid on the property if your reserve price has not been met. Once the reserve price has been met, the property will sell to the highest bidder.
